The Alaska Joint Electrical Apprenticeship & Training Trust (AJEATT) is accepting applications for apprenticeship in the trades of Inside Wireman, Outside Lineman, Communication Worker, and Residential Wireman. Applications are accepted on a year-round basis. There is a $25.00 application fee for all classifications.
All prospective applicants who can meet the following requirements are encouraged to apply:
1. Must be at least seventeen years of age to apply, must be eighteen to be accepted into the program.
2. Must provide a copy of a high school diploma, GED certificate, or higher degree diploma.
3. Must provide an official (sealed) copy of high school transcripts.
4. Must have successfully completed one full credit of Algebra 1 with a grade of ‘C’ or better, or provide a certificate demonstrating completion of the NJATC Math Course.
5. Must show proof of established residency in Alaska for at least one year prior to the date of application (current permanent fund dividend approval or receipt, 12 months of rental receipts or 12 months of pay stubs with your residential address printed on them).
6. Must have valid Alaska driver’s license.
When these requirements are satisfied and the application is completed, the applicant may submit his/her application and will be scheduled for an interview after the next quarterly deadline submission date.
